I can log in, but I do not see any assignments.
Click on the letter grade for each class to view the assignments.
Why do I only see F1, F2, and F3?
These are the final bins that contain the current final grade for each class. F1 is the final grade for Trimester 1, F2 is the final grade for Trimester 2 and F3 is the final grade for Trimester 3.
What does a - - for the grade mean?
This means that the teacher does not currently have any graded assignments entered into the system. If you click on the - - you can see if any assignments have been entered.
How often will grades be updated?
Grades for assignments, quizzes, tests, etc. are only viewable in the parent portal once the grades are entered by the teacher into the grade book, which may not be the same day the task was completed.
Why can't I see grades for previous trimester?
Midnight the last day of the trimester grades are no longer able to be viewed until the grades have been finalized by the teacher. We allow teachers a few days at the end of each trimester for grading purposes.
Can I change my password?
Yes, to change your password, click on Account Preferences in the left-hand navigation pane of your parent portal account. Click the pencil next to Current Password, complete the three boxes, and save. Log out and back in with your new password.
If you have forgotten your password, you can click the Forgot Username or Password link on the sign in page and complete the Recover Account Sign in Information. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. The link is only valid for 24 hours.
I have multiple children in the district. Can I have access to all their accounts under just one username and password?
Please contact the front office of the school that your child attends to request a Parent Portal Notification letter be mailed home. PowerSchool now allows for multiple student accounts to be merged into one login.
My husband/wife and I are separated/divorced, can we get another parent username and password for our child's account?
Yes. Please contact the front office of the school that your child attends to request a Parent Portal Notification letter be mailed home. Use this letter to create a brand new account for the second household.
Why am I not getting eMails from PowerSchool?
There could be multiple reasons for this:
- Did you sign-up for Email Notifications on the Email Notifications page? Please double check the email address you entered because if one character (letter/number/space) is off, you won’t receive emails.
- Does your email program have a spam blocker that could be blocking the messages?
- Did you check your email's BULK or SPAM folder? Check to see if the messages are going there and choose to mark them as NOT SPAM. You will have to consult your email's help menu or manual to learn how to do this as it is different for every email program.
